dear V-S Gopalji,
A wonderful story. I had noticed and wondered but I kept quiet lest people think what a fool I am. I would like to go along with Ashualec. I think--Rodin has been projected to have been seriously engrossed and busy in examining or observing something---unmindful of his physical discomfort--probably in this posture he could think better. But just a conjecture---I am Not qualified to make any such informed guess. You might be right it was a big mistake. regards. Rajee.
Dear Sharmoli sarkar,
This is a wonderful quote. I would like to thank you for sharing with us. There is a real deep meaning in the quote. How easily the ball has been put back in the questioner's court. I loved the presence of mind of the RESPONDER. Regards. Rajee.
Excellent, dear Opulence. Loved it. Your arcostic poem too made a lot of sense but the other was the wonderful ESCAPADO of a mouse. Regards. Rajee.
dear Ramesh007,
I am afraid you have a closed mind---you just want to prove your point by twisting statements. I am not contradicting .I am still saying the CHOICE before the countrymen IS OF LESSER EVILS---MMS IS A LESSER EVIL (Not the CONGRESS)---LKA, IF YOU IINSIST, MIGHT BE but BJP is no better than Congress.---MMS IS NOT PERSONAALY INVOLVED IN A SCANDAL. His name is being obliquely mentioned that he knew of the HORSE TRADING___LKA directly was in the HAWALA Scam.
You are just insisting on BLINDING YOURSELF of all the ills of people of your ideology. Keep doing. I KNOW WHAT I AMSAYING ,LEAST OF ALL BACKTRACKING--BUT WHEN A PERSON IS PRETENDING TO SLEEP___IT IS NO GOOD TRYING TO WAKE HIM. THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM. You jUST WANT TO IGNORE THE REAL ISSUE. Making the corruption as an iSSUE you want to project sagacity of the party you support. Corruption is not your concern---It is a bogey you want to dance with.
You do not want to talk about the points I gave you on how to fight corruption. That just does not interest you. TALK ABOUT THEM---You just want to IGNORE THEM---b'coz it does not suit your scemr of things. THIS IS WHY I SAY WE ARE ONLY DOING LIP SERVICE---BHASHANBAZI. IF you are genuine---SUGGEST MEANS TO DO IT AT INDIVIDUAL LEVEL AND LET US FOLLOW THEM. STOP DISCUSSING WHO IS WHAT-----DO IT YOUR OWN WAY. ALL THIS ACADEMIC TALKS TAKE YOU NO WHERE. You can not eradicate corruption like this .
Think seriously if you are genuine---otherwise keep on parroting --over and repeatedly-----by selectively picking up statemenst out of context and keep saying I HAVE CAUGHT YOU. I do not mind you keep doing --everyone is diing it---JUST BHASHANBAZI--and ML to others. First be HONEST and CLEAN YOUSELF---free of all biases and prejudices. This is very important. Have a nice day. Regards. Rajee.
Dear bhavna,
I am glad that you are impressed by this story or may be liked it too. Thanks for recommending it, too. Luv & affection. Regards. Rajee.
dear Komlet,
Thanks for your nice observations on this story on the Indian Culture and ethos. Yea, this is in our blood---deeply embedded. we go by the principle of : KSHAMA BADAN KO CHAHIYE, CHHOTAN KO UTPAAT; KAH PRABHU KA GHAT GAYO, JO BHRIGU MAARI LAAT. This is our social philosophy which lays the foundations of our culture. An elder in the family is like a god---Only GOD can be MAGNANIMOUS.
I am grateful to your visit. regards. Rajee.
Dear ramesh007,
How did you get this impression that i am selective? When did I say that MMS is clean? I said he is the lesser evil---so might be LKA. What I am saying is let us CLEAN OURSELF FIRST. This was my theme of TALAASH. We can not say that Mr So and SO in Murky politics today is Mr. clean. it were you who were trying to paint LKA better than MMS. I AMSAYING THEY ARE CHIPS OF THE SAME BLOCK--as members of POLITICAL PARTIES which are TAINTED.
I agree--I cry onseeing what happened in PARLIAMENT--- I just can not tolerate such things. I am not in agreement with you that VAJPAYEE did not try to do the same thing--he did but failed--Anyway let us not waste our time on WHO IS WHAT IN INDIAN POLITICS. IN MY VIEW ALL OUR TAINTED TILL PROVED OTHERWISE---THERE ARE NO HALF-MEASURES or THOUGHTS as Far as I am concerned.
What can we do? I had said let us not go by 'BHASHANBAZI. anymore. It was time for some action on our part. Here is my recipe. First, let us resolve to be HONEST & CLEAN,. Second, let us not encourage or tolerate DISHONESTY or CORRUPTION in our AREAS OF INFLUENCE. Third, let us educate and make people aware in our AREA OF INTEREST. IF we do these three things sincerely--we will be able to achieve positive results. Let us begin with ourself. Let us not worry about MMS or LKA or MV and so on. It is a painful and a long process but this is the only way. No approach paper or law or investigations or inquiries or Parliament Committees would be able to eradicate this. It has to be "WE THE PEOPLE"---without any allibies. Do think about this.Regards. Rajee.
Dear Ramesh,
Exactly, this is what i am saying---Let us have NO favourites and make assumptions . I am saying that we need SAINTS not these so called HOLY MEN.
We have to galvanise ourselves as Indians and not as appendages of some ideologies. Fairness demands we treat all those sick people in the same way--let us not advocate who is CLEAN and who is NOT. Let us first CLEAN ourselves. This is my point. I am not adopting 'accomodating approach'--i am suggesting PARITY in our perceptions.
Regards. rajee.
Dear Ajith,
Thanks buddy for a very personal and and an emotional observation.. I do agree with you on the IMAGE OF FATHER. In fact while MOTHERS in the INDIAN social system have a very high status ----the fathers somehow have not been given that aura of respect.
Long time back I read a quote that EVERY SON, AS A CHILD, THINKS HIS FATHER WAS WRONG. BUT THE OPINION CHANGES WHEN HE HIMSELF BECOMES A FATHER--HE REALISES HOW RIGHT WAS HIS FATHER ---BUT, BY THEN ,IT IS TOO LATE TO RETRACE YOUR STEPS.
Not withstanding tthe role of a father, it is but natural the elders have the advantage of their experience and exposure. The youngsters have much to gain from them--if they are not bugged by the virus of self-righteousness and the urge to rebel against the father--a most common phenomenon.
Thanks for the visit. Regards. Rajee.
THE GREAT VOTE - IT'S AFTERMATH
My dear GK,
I fully endorse your views. The cry leaders of BJP are making noise--what they would have done being HER MAJESTY's OBEDIENT SERVANTS, if they were in power. Nuke deal is good for the country. But what happened in the BIGGESR DEMOCRATIC SHRINE of the country on 23 July 2008--is a cause for concern. does not matter whether it was planted or actual---it unmasked the politicians of this country as MERELY DEALERS and NOT LEADERS. I am surprised not a single MP resigned in disgust. Are they so THICK-SKINNED. Regards. Rajee.
